Paulette Holloway Bivens, 72, of Lenoir City, passed away April 12, 2021.
Paulette was a loving wife, caring mother and grandmother, and the best sister ever. She was a faithful servant and active member at Martel United Methodist Church, where she was church treasurer and sang in the choir. Paulette retired after working many years at the ORNL X-10 plant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Doris Holloway; brother, Sam Holloway; infant sister, Sandra Carole Holloway; granddaughter, Samantha Jo Matson; and stepdaughter, Cheryl Mincey.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Bivens; sons, Jimmy Bivens (Vanessa), David Bivens (Becky) and Jeffrey Bivens (Christy); grandchildren, Patricia, Jared, Brandi, Matthew, Alex, Elijah, Lindsey, Chad, Claire, Madi, Matthew, Michael, Reed and Cody; great-grandchildren, Cecilia, Serin, Emilia, Anthony, Vivien, Preston, Connor and Olivia; sisters, Susan Robinett and Debra Jane Holloway; brother, Steve Holloway (Debbie); two aunts; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family received friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 15, at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services followed at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Dewey Smith officiating. Family and friends gathered at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and proceeded to the Lakeview Cemetery for 1 p.m. graveside services.
