The News-Herald is still taking votes for Hometown Favorites, and a ballot can be found inside the weekend edition of the News-Herald.

Every year, nominations are accepted for favorite foods, people, businesses - the idea is to recognize the best of Loudon County. There are categories for insurance agent, jeweler, law enforcement officer, restaurant, florist, fitness center and numerous others.

"We're convinced that our readers know where to find the best of our community and we want to help celebrate the great things about Loudon County," Steve Meadows, News-Herald editor & publisher, said.
Entries must be

submitted on the original ballot taken from the newspaper. No photocopies are accepted.

Ballots must be postmarked or brought to News-Herald offices at 201 Simpson Road by June 15. If mailing, send to Hometown Favorites, P.O. Box 310, Lenoir City, TN 37771.
