Ailene Ellis Preston, 82, of Lenoir City, was reunited with her precious husband, George, on Friday, July 13, 2012. She was a member of Sixth Avenue Church of God. Ailene and George were owner/operators of Twin Lakes Antiques over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wilson Preston; parents, R.W. and Nora Ellis; sisters, Thelma Hill and Sharon Ellis; brother, Dan Ellis and son-in-law, Don Lane. She is survived by her sons, Bill Preston, Tony Preston, Leonard Preston and wife, Kris, Brad Preston and wife, Rebecca; daughters, Carolyn Lambert and husband, Larry, Darlene Lane Harden and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Jennifer Decker, Ashley Clark, Nathan Lane, Benjamin Lambert, Cody Lambert, Hannah and Will Preston, Spencer and Kylie Preston; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Bailey Decker, Zella Lane, Samuel Clark, Cassie Lane and Harris Lambert; brothers, Leroy Ellis and Claude Ellis; sisters, Wanda Ross, Ernestine Blanton and Irmagene Wakefield; many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Cowboy and the staff at Prestige Assisted Living, Pat Hungate and the staff of Covenant Health Hospice Group and the staff at Click Funeral Home. The family will received friends Sunday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Family and friends gathered Monday at Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services. Grandsons served as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, in honor of Ailene's grandchildren and great grandchildren, please give to the Youth/Children's Ministry, in care of Sixth Avenue Church of God.
