Bobby Eugene Key Sr., 71, of Lenoir City passed away early Wednesday morning, June 6, 2012.
Bobby was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from the construction business.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Jenkins Key; son, Bobby Eugene Key Jr.; parents, Robert and Bessie Key; brothers, Charles, George, Johnny and Arthur Key; sisters, Helen Key and Polly Vanderford; and brother-in-law, Paul Faulkner.
He is survived by his sons, Jimmy Key and wife, Lorrie of Lenoir City, Johnny Brewer and David Brewer of Lawrenceville, Ga.; daughters-in-law, Dorinda Parker and husband, Eric, Pearl Brewer and Susie Brewer; seven grandchildren, Christy, Lisa, Johnny, Sean, Dylan, Chealsea and Nina; three great-grandchildren, Maci, Eric and Austin; sisters, Barbara Rogers and husband, Buddy, Linda Lankford, Ramona Reynolds and husband, Larry; brother, Mitchell Key; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Linda Jenkins, and Jean Key; along with several special nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, Bobby Fritts.
The family received friends 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services followed at 7:30 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Parris and the Rev. Donnie Crass officiating. Family and friends gathered at the funeral home by 10:30 Saturday morning and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services at 11 a.m. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
