Brenna Charlote Williams, 61, of Loudon, born in 1951 in Johnson County, Ky., passed away at her sister's home in Loudon County, Tenn., on April 25, 2012.
Brenna was a member of St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church. She was a 1966 graduate of Flat Gap High School and attended the Universities of Kentucky and Tennessee, earning multiple degrees. Brenna was an avid reader and loved all genres of music.
She was preceded in death by: her father, James Wallace Williams Sr. and beloved grandmother, Vina Meek Simpson.
Brenna is survived by: her mother, Freda Daniel Williams Bell and husband, Albert J.; her sons, Jerry Michael Swain Jr. and wife Manderley, and Norman E. Lettieri and Shannon Harmon; her siblings, Jim Williams and wife, Carolyn, Vina Carol (Williams) George and husband, Guy, and Bruce Williams and wife, Miriam; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews, and a host of people whose lives have been touched by this brave, beautiful soul.
The family received friends 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012 in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. A memorial service at St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church with the Rev. Carol E. Westpfahl officiating will be announced soon on Click's website.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the following charities: American Cancer Society, The Kidney Foundation, American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or your local Women's Crisis Center.
