Early voting ended Friday for the county general elections and state and federal primaries.

Across Loudon County, 7,883 voters turned out to cast an early ballot, which is an all-time high for an August election, Susan Harrison, Loudon County administrator of elections, said.

Races will be decided following Thursday’s election day, with polls open 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Voting locations are:

• District 1, Precinct LDN — Fort Loudoun Middle School, 1084 Mulberry St., Loudon.

• District 1, Precinct LNO — Fort Loudoun Middle School, 1084 Mulberry St., Loudon.

• District 1, Precinct LMZ — Piney Ruritan, 2890 Davis Ferry Road, Loudon.

• District 2, Precinct LNC — War Memorial Building, 100 North B St., Lenoir City.

• District 2, Precinct LCO — War Memorial Building, 100 North B St., Lenoir City.

• District 3, Precinct GDL — Glendale Community Center, 791 Glendale Community Road, Lenoir City.

• District 3, Precinct GBK — Greenback School, 6945 Morganton Road, Greenback.

• District 4, Precinct DVS — Piney Ruritan, 2890 Davis Ferry Road, Loudon.

• District 4, Precinct PHI — Philadelphia School, 300 Spring St., Philadelphia.

• District 4, Precinct LUT — Fenders Community Cetner, 2529 Oakland Road, Philadelphia.

• District 5, Precinct ETN — North Middle School, 421 Hickory Creed Road, Lenoir City.

• District 5, Precinct BRW — Eaton Elementary School, 423 Hickory Creed Road, Lenoir City.

• District 6, Precinct HPK — Highland Park School, 4404 Highway 11 East, Lenoir City.

• District 7, Precinct TVN — Community Church at Tellico Village, 130 Chota Center, Loudon.

• District 7, Precinct TVS — Community Church at Tellico Village, 130 Chota Center, Loudon.

Voters must have a federal- or state-issued photo ID when voting in person.

Local contested races include Loudon County Commission seats for District 2, seat A, and District 5, seat B; and Loudon County Board of Education seats for District 2, seat A, District 4 and District 6. A sample ballot can be found at www.loudoncountyvotes.com.
