Lenoir City parade

• Lenoir City’s parade will begin at 11 a.m. and march down Broadway Street. Line up beginning at 10 a.m. at the former Yale Commercial Locks parking lot. A half-mile “Fire Cracker” run for children ages 5-12 will be held before the parade.

Loudon parade

• The Loudon Lions Club parade will start at 10 a.m. and march down Mulberry Street in Loudon. Line up beginning at 9 a.m.

Greenback parade

• Greenback’s parade will be held at 11 a.m. with paraders lining up at 10 a.m. at the old Greenback School. The city will also have an arts and crafts event 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the depot, a festival at 6 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m.

Loudon celebration

• Loudon Parks and Recreation will hold its annual July 4 celebration starting at 6 p.m. at Loudon Municipal Park. The event will include food, games and fireworks.

Authors guild

The Authors Guild of Tennessee will hold its monthly meeting at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 4, at Faith Lutheran Church in Farragut.
